9:45 Sunday Morning Challenge
Sunday morning Bible classes are held for various age groups from infants to adults. We currently have 5 adults classes (1 men’s & 4 ladies classes), SWAT Class for Youth (ages 5th grade to 12th); Sonshine Class from K-5 to 4th grade; and the Infant & Toddlers Class.
11:00 Sunday Morning Worship
This is a time of worshiping in song, testimonies, special music and a timely message from our Pastor that will inspire you to serve God with all your heart. Pastor Tim is presently preaching a series of messages entitles the Holy Spirit & You. Sermon Transcripts may be obtained under Strength for the Journey.
Connect Class for New Members
Classes are scheduled, usually as a Sunday Luncheon at the church with Pastor Tim and his wife, Patsy along with deacons and their wives. You can register with Pastor Tim by E-mail gotell@embarqmail.com or by filling out a Yellow Connection Card located on the back information wall of the auditorium and placing it in the offering plate.
Outreach Opportunities
This gives everyone an opportunity to fellowship around impacting eternity throughout our communty.
* Go Tell Outreach is actual visits you may make with assigned partners to those who have visited our church or those who have been absent or facing sickness at home or in the hospitals.
* Tennis Shoes for Christ will be a new outreach for 2012 which will be on the first Saturday of each month. TSC will begin with a 9:00 a.m. breakfast and then from 10 until noon, we will divide up in groups where we will blitz a neighborhood with Special Packages of information about upcoming events in our church and information about what Jesus has done and is offering them.
7:00 Wednesday Evening Worship Service
What a great time to have your battery recharged as we meet on Wednesday evenings to worship our Lord in song, testimonies, special music and a timely message from our Pastor that will encourage you to keep on keeping on for Christ. Mnay call it a time to recharge your spiritual battery. Pastor Tim is presently preaching a series dealing with Unwrapping Your Spiritual Gifts. Check sermon notes under Strength for the Journey.
Music Ministry
Easter – Patriotic – Christmas Choir and Drama Presentations / Solo & groups. The music ministry is an open community at Pleasant Plains.
